Automotive Excellence just signed up as a sponsor for this years Marina High School Classic Car Show! The show will be held on Sunday, April 22 2012, from 9am-2pm on the Marina High School campus. We will be at the show with a couple displays and to answer any auto repair or performance questions you might have while enjoying all the awesome cars. Hope to see you there...

Automotive Excellence will be out at the Surf City USA Classic Car Show this Saturday November 12th, as their official custom exhaust shop and show vendor. The show is from 8am-5pm, will be held right off of of P.C.H. and will have plenty of great weather and cars. So come out and enjoy the show with us!

We just added AAA's Automobile Club of Southern California as a show and trophy sponsor at the Surf City Car Show on July 16th! They will also have a booth set up at the car show handing out some free goodies, so make sure to stop by and see them.

We officially booked The Hot Rod Trio to come play a set at our Surf City Car Show! They will be rocking the crowd with their matching flamed instruments and revved-up rockabilly sound. I also got in contact with the lovely car show model Claudia Coronado. She will now be out the Surf City Car Show as well, taking pictures with some of the beautiful cars that will be on display.
We just got this frame sent over to us from the offices at Popular Hot Rodding magazine, thanking us for all our work on their Project Nova. It will be finding a spot on our lobby wall today!
This week I was contacted by Dick DeLoach, editor for Parts and People Magazine, to do a cover story on Automotive Excellence in an up coming issue. More information to come.

The Nova project car from Popular Hotrodding Magazine arrived today! I met with the editor, John Hunkins, and came up with a game plan for what needs to be done to the Nova, the upcoming magazine stories and subsequent photoshoots. I'm also excited to announce the date of our 3rd annual Surf City Car Show, Saturday July the 16th. After the big turn out last year, and the need for more space for awesome cars, we are working with someone to rent a near-by lot to dedicate to our car show only. It would have room for 100 cars, restroom facilities, and plenty of shady trees to sit and relax under during the show. More show, location, sponsor and vendor details to come.....

Hi everyone, I am very happy to announce that Automotive Excellence has chosen a local charity to support. The organization of choice is Dogbeach.org, a non-profit organization that depends on donations to run and maintain the Huntington Beach, Dog Beach. It is open for everyone and their dogs to enjoy. Dog Beach is located on Pacific Coast Highway between 21st St. and Seapoint St. in the beautiful city of Huntington Beach. One mile of golden sands and the exciting Pacific Ocean have made Dog Beach a paradise for dogs, where they can frolic in the water and taste a sense of freedom--rarely found elsewhere. I have contacted Thomas Daly of the Dog Beach to donate a portion of our annual Surf City Car Show and shop merchandise sales proceeds to their organization. Please take some time to visit their website dogbeach.org and see what they are all about. I take our shop dog, Daisy, to the Dog beach as much as I can, so maybe I will see you out there sometime.
We are also excited to announce that the mail brought us a surprise this week, the December issue of Hot Rod and Restoration magazine. This months issue features an article on Automotive Excellence. The 2010 SEMA Show was an awesome event with many great products and vendors. We saw a lot of cool cars and met many great people. We also came back with plenty of ideas and knowledge to share with all of you. Feel free to ask about it. It was a great experience and we will be back next year. We are also happy to announce that we are now giving a FREE Automotive Excellence vanilla scented air freshener with every service. Additional air fresheners can also be purchased in our lobby for $2.00 each.

Hello all, it has been a busy few months for us and we are thrilled to share with you some exciting news. We are happy to announce that Automotive Excellence will be attending the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this year. The SEMA show is the biggest after market automotive industy convention in the world. Our attendance insures that we keep up to date with the industry and bring back products and ideas to better serve our customers. The show occurs the first week of November and we will report back to the blog with how it went.
We will also be working with Popular Hot Rodding magazine on a '68 Chevy Nova project car. The Nova will be featured in their magazine in an upcomming issue. Stay tuned and we will be sure to let you know when the issue goes on sale. Automotive Excellence is also proud to annouce that we will be featured in a column named "The Profiler" for Hotrod & Restoration magazine. As soon as we have more information we will post it here.
We have also begun the sale of Automotive Excellenve Inc. merchandise. The customer lobby now offers: license plate frames, t-shirts, key chains, stickers, mouse pads and gift certificates. Hats, more t-shirt designs and car care products coming soon. These items and more will be available online in the near future.

Wow! The Surf City Car Show was a HUGE success. A big thank you to all of our participants and sponsors. We also want to extend a special thank you to Carl's Jr. for providing mouth watering food for everyone. We want to congratulate all our award winners as well.

GREAT NEWS! Carl's Jr. will be attending the Surf City Car Show on July 17th, 2010. The Star Diner will be on site handing out free burger samples. Bring the kids and bring your appetites. Check out the pictures below. Cool cars and cool burgers are what Southern California is all about.

The Surf City Car Show is right around the corner and things are coming along GREAT! We have a lot of cars registered and more cars are being added everyday. We could not be happier with the way things are going. This event will be one of the best car shows Huntington Beach has ever seen. As has been posted to our Facebook Page, we just added Jim Stouts 1970 Ford Ranchero, David Hoffman's 1950 Chevy Pickup, and Gene Bamsey's beautiful 1937 Chevy 2 door sedan (see the picture below).

Our 2010 Public Service Announcment was broadcast this morning at 10:39 on ESPN AM830 Angels Baseball Radio. Make sure to drive safe and be responsible this 4th of July weekend. Our PSA will be airing each day this week, we hope folks will take our message to heart and have a fun and safe weekend.
In other news, our article in Undercar Digest is coming along really well. We have submitted our basic information to the editor for the upcoming phone interview. We have also emailed the editor plenty of pictures of the shop so he is sure to have a good selection to use for the article.
The Surf City Car Show trophies arrived this weekend and they look great. We look forward to seeing you on July 17th.

Hello everyone, it has been a very hectic few months (in a good way, business is great thanks to all of you, our loyal clients) and we were unable to keep this page as up to date as we had hoped. However, we are less than a month away from the Surf City Car Show and have so far booked 3 vendors: Mr. B's Kettle Corn, Scentsy (scented candles and air fresheners), and Bazil Chiropractic Health Center who will have offers and special massage pricing for our car show attendees. We would also like to let everyone know that a few of our sponsors and partners will be generously donating some gift baskets that we will award in addition to trophies to our show winners. Speaking of trophies, they look GREAT, we custom made our trophies with a local vendor and will have some sneak peek pictures posted here shortly, they will be picked up later today.
We would like to announce that Automotive Excellence Inc. will be airing a public service announcement promoting safe driving on Angel Baseball Radio ESPN AM 830 from June 28th to July 2nd. The exact broadcast times are TBA but they will be shortly before the start of each Angel baseball game.
MAGAZINE ARTICLE - We have also been asked to be in Undercar Digest, the August Performance issue. Alex Mayea, CEO has been in contact with the editor and will be scheduling a phone interview shortly. When we have more information regarding the article we will let you know.
